We have a comprehensive export market hence most
international standards can also be met from stock
whether it be European, American (U.L.), Far East etc. If alternative standards are required please advise.
Finishes
All full polished and satin surfaces are sealed with a clear lacquer to minimise maintenance, a light dusting is all that is required to maintain lustre. It is recommended that contact with solvents (found in
many aerosol furniture polish and hair sprays etc) and abrasives (such as 'Brasso' etc) should be avoided as
they will cause deterioration to the lacquer finish.
The Distressed Antique is sealed with a spirit based bees wax, Traditional Bees Wax Furniture Polish
by Cambridge Traditional Products is recommended. To maintain the finish periodically apply bees wax when
the surface has lost its sheen, apply with a duster and then gently buff.
Lampshades
The Antique Gold Fleck trim is applied as standard but other trims are available upon request:
Satin, Tortoise Shell, Regal Braid and Rope Trim.
Customers own lampshades can be recovered providing the original panel of fabric plus the top and
bottom rings are available.
We can also produce lampshades in customer's own fabric
